Valve-gear.-In a radial-cylinder engine in which the pistons are connected to a single crankpin and all the inlet and exhaust valves h, i are worked by a singe cam d driven by externallytoothed spur gearing, the valve-rods e, f, g are arranged tangentially to a common circle m concentric with the cam-shaft. The inlet and exhaust valves h, i of each cylinder are worked by a single overhead lever o and the tappet-rod e, f or g, which is moved outwardly by a swell x on the cam and inwardly by a spring p against a depression y in the cam.
