159,379. Thompson & Norris Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Howard, E. C., and Minch, H. Dec. 18, 1919. Addition to 130,822. Folding boxes; strengthening by corrugating.- A collapsable box made of corrugated cardboard comprises an open-ended tubular part A surrounded by a strip C<1> - - C<5> having covering- flaps C<3>, C', a second strip B<1> - - B<5> being inserted in the part A, and so arranged that its end flaps B<1>, B<2> can be turned over the flaps C<3>, C<4> and secured by adhesive tape. The corrugations in the two strips are arranged at right angles to the corrugations in the part A. The abutting ends of the blank or blanks from which the part A is formed may be secured together by adhesive tape, clips, &c.
