Abstract
142,712. Coomer, A. July 22, 1919. Folding boxes.-A cardboard or like box comprises a, bottom a, Fig. 1, creased longitudinally at b, sides c, and ends c, hinged to the corresponding edges of the bottom, the ends having bends g, and supplementary ends h secured to the sides by wire-stitching and having bends i. The tops of the ends e have metal tongues i adapted to be bent outwards and downwards to hold the parts c, h together when the box is set up. The box collapses as shown in Fig. 5, the ends e lying within the folded bottom and the folded parts h between the sides c.
