Abstract

153,513. Nobbs, C. G., and Nobbs, W. W. Feb. 24, 1920. Safety-valves.-A combined pressure and vacuum relief valve particularly applicable for use with electric hotwater radiators, towel rails, &c. has the seat for the vacuum valve formed on a cap screwed to the pressure-valve member to enclose the vacuum valve member and its loading- spring. The pressure relief valve B engages a seat on a fitting provided with a screwed tail and an hexagonal part T and is loaded by a spring M bearing against a washer N held in position by a perforated cap L with a rounded end secured to the base of the device. The vacuum relief valve is pressed by a spring 0 against a seat on the rounded part. of a cap E and is guided by a stem loosely engaging a passage J in the pressure valve member.
