Abstract

1426251 Door leaves EUROPATENT SA 28 Sept 1973 [30 Sept 1972] 45565/73 Heading E1J A door leaf has rebatted edge surfaces each having a mortise 5 for a lock and a recess 6 for a lock cover plate, a dummy plate 7 being located in the recess, and coating 9 covering the edge surfaces. After positioning of the leaf, one of the dummy plates 7 is removed and a lock installed. Holes 10 are also provided for handle and keys and holes 11 for attachment of hinges, the holes on one edge of the leaf being completed after positioning of the leaf. The leaf is made up of a frame 1, 2 and wooden panels 3, 4. Coating 9 is of plastics or wood veneer.
