Abstract
1421507 Boots etc ALSA-SCHUHBEDARF GmbH 5 Dec 1973 [7 May 1973 14 May 1973] 56312/73 Heading A3B A shoe consists of an integrally moulded shell of hard plastics material and an insole in the shell for supporting a foot. In a high-heel form the shell consists of an upper 11 including a counter 13, a sole 12 and a hollow heel 14. The heel 14 is filled by a core 15 of light-weight material which is integral with insole 16, a steel insert 17 being embedded in the heel core/ insole assembly. This assembly 15, 16, 17 may be loosely inserted in the shell or may be fixed therein by adhesive. The top line edge of the upper may be rounded, may be covered or may be made of a softer material than the rest of the upper. In a flat-heel form (not shown) the sole and heel portions of the shell may be thicker than the upper portions and the steel insert is omitted.
