1407179 Hydraulic reciprocating motors ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 19 Oct 1973 [21 Oct 1972] 48875/73 Heading F1A In a radial piston hydraulic motor comprising a rotary cylinder block 5 mounted on a pintle valve 4 and having pistons 8 with slippers 9 engaging an eccentric track ring 10, the distance between the top or bottom dead centre points on the pintle and the adjacent ends of the high-pressure port for a uni-directional rotation, Fig.6 (not shown), or the adjacent ends of both parts 17, 18 for a reversible rotation, as shown in Fig. 2, bears a specified relationship with the coefficient of friction between the slippers and track ring, so that build-up of pressure forces inhibiting starting of the motor is prevented within the angular range in which they exceed the effective power. A groove 27 and a port 30 provided at the T.D.C. and B.D.C. points communicate with the lowpressure motor housing interior. The track ring eccentricity is adjustable by hand wheel 14.
