1532541 Reciprocating pumps ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 9 Jan 1976 [10 Jan 1975] 00823/76 Heading F1A In a radial piston pump comprising a rotary cylinder block 15 mounted on a valve pintle 14 and having pistons 20 engaging a cam track 22, the suction stroke of each piston takes place during only part of the angle of rotation available for suction, e.g. during 50 degrees to 70 degrees for two strokes per revolution, Fig. 3, (not shown) or 100 degrees to 140 degrees for one stroke per revolution, to improve filling, the discharge stroke occupying the whole of the available angle of rotation.
