1432670 Reciprocating pumps and motors HOESCH WERKE AG 3 Aug 1973 [19 Aug 1972] 37033/73 Heading F1A In an axial or radial piston pump or motor, hydrostatic bearings are employed for supporting the cam means in the housing and for supporting bearing means on the pistons. In Fig. 3, roller 13 is supported on piston 11 by arcuate hydrostatic bearing recesses 111 connected, together with a bearing recess 112 in the piston wall, to the working chamber 15. In Fig. 5, swash-plate 16 is supported in guide-member 19 by hydrostatic bearing recesses 161, 162 connected, together with bearing recess 211 supporting member 19, to working chamber 15.
