Abstract

1383771 Reciprocating plate propeller H U VAN DER MERWE 2 May 1972 [17 Sept 1971] 20349/72 Heading B7V A watercraft propulsion device comprises brackets 2, 3 fixed to the stern of the craft, an apertured lug 7 projecting from each bracket for registration with similar lugs on a frame 8, a swivel pin 10 extending through the apertures. A fin 13 is connected to the base of the frame for manual manipulation from side to side by means of arms 11, 12. The arms may conveniently be moved by ropes or wires 14 passed through holes in the arms 11, 12.
