1380219 Knitting machines THEODOR GROZ & SOEHNE and ERNST BECKERT NADELFABRIK COMMANDITGESELLSCHAFT 25 May 1973 [19 June 1972] 25172/73 Heading D1C The butt 5 of a latch needle stamped from flat band steel, has a gap 6 set into its outer edge. Recesses 7, 9 are provided on the edges of the shank. This configuration is said to increase damping of shocks otherwise propogated to the hook end of the needle.
