Abstract
137,809. Seignol, E. Jan. 16, 1919, [Convention date]. Indicating maximum movements.-A maximum indicator for use with the rotating index hand of a measuring instrument is retained in any position, to which it may be moved, by magnetic forces due to a permanent magnet. The maximum hand 2, of magnetic material, is mounted to slide round, concentrically with the pivot of the instrumentally-controlled index hand 1, in juxtaposition with a magnet 5 attached to the glass cover 6 by a bronze pin 6'. The maximum hand moves on a small pin 7 screwed in the bronze pin 6<1> and has a projection 2' to take movement from the ordinary reading or index hand 1.
