Abstract

1358470 Boots &c LOUIS ISRAEL (FOOTWEAR) Ltd 19 Dec 1972 58645/72 Heading A3B A pram boot (i.e. a baby's bootee) includes a sole 1, a front upper portion 2 attached to the sole 1 around a major forward portion thereof and forming an opening for receiving a foot, and a separate rear uper portion 3 which is sufficiently flexible to facilitate its being folded back by hand, the portion 3 flexing about a line 9 exetnding close to and substantially parallel with the sole I as shown in Fig. 2 to allow easy access of the foot into the front portion 2 in a direction generally parallel with the sole of the boot. When the foot has been placed in the front portion 2, the rear upper portion 3 is folded upwardly over the heel of the foot and is fastened by straps 6, 7 and buckle 8. The rear portion 3 may overlap the sides of the front portion 2 when in its normal position.
