Abstract

1356397 Nestable and stackable containers STEWART PLASTICS Ltd 3 Dec 1971 [16 March 1971] 7048/71 Heading B8P A plastics container, that may be injection moulded, has sloping walls 4, 4a, with recesses 5 in these walls asymetric with respect to recesses in the opposite wall, the recesses being extended downwardly to form legs 7. Flanges 9 at the top of each wall 4, 4a have depressions 11 so positioned that if one container is turned through 180 degrees with respect to a lower container they may be stacked one upon the other. Before turning through 180 degrees the containers are capable of nesting. The depressions may be strengthened by a web (13, Fig. 2) on their undersides.
