The rest may comprise a frame having two L-shaped tubular arms in/on which telescope U-shaped end frames or legs Figs.3 - 7 and 10 (not shown). This rest may be foldable by providing a hinge at the junction of the two limbs of the L-shape. The rest may comprise a frame 61 having a number of portions 64 hinged thereto, the hinges 66 being arranged to resist collapse of the frame but permit folding of the portions to allow adjustment. A flexible support the size of which can be altered to accommodate adjustment of the rest is secured about the frame.
