Abstract

1336537 Stackable crates BEKAERT SA NV 28 July 1972 [30 July 1971] 35508/72 Heading B8P A crate for flower pots comprises a base 3 of wires 4, 5, 15 and 16 and a compartmentdefining grid 2 of wires 13 and 14, the wires 14 defining two sides of the grid being spaced from the adjacent sides of the crate by a distance equal to half the length of a side of acompartment so that when two crates are stacked and orientated at 180 degrees relative to each other none of the flower pots in the upper crate overlies the central region of any of the flower pots in the lower crate. The wires 15 underlie the compartments 12 to support the flower pots in the crate but are spaced so that they contact the edge regions only of flower pots in an underlying stacked crate. The wires 13 are arranged in pairs so that adjacent compartments are spaced from each other. Stacking is facilitated by support wires 9 connecting the legs of corner braces 7.
