Abstract

1327996 Bottle crates JOHN DALE Ltd and J E MOSES 2 Aug 1972 [19 Aug 1971] 39024/71 Heading B8P The underside of the base of a half crate is shaped to fit conformingly between the tops of bottles in a lower identical half crate, movement of the top crate being prevented in two mutually perpendicular directions in a plane parallel to base of the crate. The bottle positions are indicated by circles 4, ribs 5, 6 partly surrounding the tops of bottles in the lower crate prevent movement of the upper crate. Projecting ribs 8 engage the sides of the bottle tops to assist in firm stacking. The crate base may be of grid form and the ribs may be replaced by channels or pedestals suitably contoured.
