1312437 Index tabs THORLAG MEK VERKSTED 21 April 1971 [23 April 1970] 10597/71 Heading B6E An index tab arranged to be held in slots 12, Fig. 8, of an index card 11 and composed of three interlocking members includes a front plate 4, Fig. 7, provided with a transversal series of upwardly directed lugs 6, which are stamped out of the plate to provide corresponding apertures 5 through which are passed fingers 3 of a back plate 1, whose upper edge is provided with a depending flange 2, the front plate and back plate being interlocked with each other, when the fingers 3 have been passed through the apertures 5 and slots 12 in the index card 11, by a transparent locking member in the form of a lens 8, Fig. 6 whose longitudinal edges are located between the flange 2 and lugs 6. An index label is disposed between the lens and the front plate. In the interlocked position the lower ends of fingers 3 are also passed through locating apertures 7 in the front plate 4.
