Abstract

1307274 Cleaning solvent IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 21 June 1971 [7 July 1970] 32946/70 Heading C5D The cleaning properties of trichlorotrifluoroethane are enhanced by mixing it with tert.- butanol. The preferred isomer is 1,1,2-trichloro- 1,2,2-trifluoroethane and the preferred mixture is an azeotropic one. In an example, a printed circuit board is cleaned of soldering flux by immersing it in the boiling solvent mixture.
