1285825 Cleaning solvent IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 21 June 1971 [7 July 1970] 32942/70 Heading C5D The cleaning properties of trichloro-trifluoroethane may be enhanced by mixing it with methyl acetate. The preferred isomer is 1,1,2- trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane and the preferred mixture is in azeotropic proportions. In an example, soldering flux is removed from a printed circuit board by immersing the board in a boiling solvent mixture.
