Abstract
1362241 Cleaning resists from printed circuit boards IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 17 March 1972 [15 April 1971] 9491/71 Heading C5D A method for the removal of resists from printed circuit boards comprises treating the board with a mixture comprising at least 40% by wt. of trichlorotrifluoroethane (A) and at least 30% by wt. of methylene chloride (B). Up to 15% by wt. of methanol or ethanol (C) may be present. The mixture comprises 45 to 60% by wt. of (A), 35 to 55% by wt. of (B) and 0 to 10% by wt. of (C). Azeotropic mixtures are preferred. Specifications 1,113,379 and 1,125,859 are referred to.
