Abstract

125,967. Nichols, H. B. June 18, 1917, [Convention date]. Irrigators and like appliances.-A nasal douche is provided with an inlet tube and a separate suction outlet tube operating simultaneously. In the form shown, an ordinary douche bag 1 is connected by a roller tube 2 fitted with a valve clamp 6 to a glass tube 3, to the upper end of which a nozzle 4 is flexibly connected by a rubber tube 5. An outlet tube 8, fitted with a nozzle 9 for the other nostril, is connected to a rubber tube 7 acting in the manner of a siphon or otherwise, as a suction tube. The tubes 3, 8 are preferably car. ried by a block 11 bored to receive the tubes and fitted with a handle 12.
