6031. McLean, J. L. March 10. Syringes. - A douche has a flexible water-bag b, preferably of indiarubber, contained within an air - bag a of waterproof canvas &c., into which air can be pumped, thus subjecting the bag to pressure. By opening a tap in the tube connecting the bag b to the douche nozzle, after air has been forced into the bag a, a flow of water is obtained due to the pressure in the outer bag. Inlet and outlet connexions a r e fitted to each bag.
