Abstract

1,251,207. Lampholders. JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd. 8 April, 1969 [18 April, 1968], No. 18304/68. Heading H2E. Contacts 16 having a U-section contact end and being housed in parallel bores 14, 15 in the insulating body 11 of a capless-lamp holder resiliently grip the pinch of the bulb which, in use, is inserted into a recess 12, contacting the lead wires of the bulb. Each terminal has lugs 17 to grip the cable insulation and lugs 18 to grip and contact the cable core, and includes a slit 21a, an internal resilient projection 21, and a retaining tongue 19.
