[Also in Division Fl] In an applicator for cream or paste, pressure is applied through a hole 6 in base of a container 1 to a pressure plate 5 to compress a hollow pad holds cream or paste 7 and extrude the cream or paste through at least one outlet opening 4 in a closure lid 2 and the outer face of lid 2 may be furnished with ribs of varying length forming a swirling pattern for the cream to be applied with a massaging action. Spring means 9 is provided to bias the pressure plate 5 against the container bottom. Grooved annular rings 10 are provided to retain the spring in its correct position and a sealing ring or rings of rigid or resilient material may be located between the pressure plate and the container bottom. A cover may be adapted to press fit over the lid 2.
