Abstract
1,213,130. Burners. BRITISH OXYGEN CO. Ltd. 21 Feb., 1968 [21 Feb., 1967], No. 8147/67. Heading F4T. A burner for hydrocarbon fuels such as propane, butane, propylene, butylene and mixtures thereof has a slot-shaped nozzle 5 into the tip of which is inserted a corrugated brass strip 6 forming a number of closely spaced passages for the gas dimensioned so that the mean width of any passage is not greater than the minimum quench distance of the fuel gas/air mixture.
