Abstract

1,202,017. Adjustable seat and headrest. P. A. RENTROP G.m.b.H. 4 July, 1969 [30 Jan., 1969], No. 33711/69. Heading A4J. The height of seat 1 is varied by cam 6 rotated about a fixed axis 7 by a lever 10 under control of a screwed rod 8. The rear of the seat is guided by pin 5 in track 4. A similar mechanism raises the rear of the seat. The seat may also slide rearwardly by a lever carrying a cam 14 sliding in a track 15 and controlled by screw 16. An adjustable head-rest (20) is provided and moves vertically on telescopic arms (22, 23) (Fig. 7) and also is movable about a horizontal axis transverse of the seat and clamped in position by a conical locking member.
