Abstract

A two-component diazotype material comprises a support coated with a layer containing at least one diazonium compound, acid stabilizer and at least one coupler of formula wherein Y is -S- or -SO-, R1 and R2 are alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, X is hydrogen, or -CH2- NR3R4 in the position ortho to the hydroxyl group wherein R3 and R4 are alkyl or hydroxyalkyl groups with 1 to 4 carbon atoms or together form a heterocyclic ring. The support is generally transparent so that on exposure and development an intermediate master for photo-copying is produced.
