[Also in Division F4] In a sealed beam headlamp the reflecting surface has the form of a particular conoid of revolution over the whole of its area except in the region of its apex where it has a different form, and a dipped beam filament is mounted in front of the focus of the conoid. Preferably the conoid is a paraboloid and the area in the region of its apex is a cone.
