Abstract

1,096,145. Ladders. H. C. SLINGSBY Ltd. and J. F. SLINGSBY. March 31, 1965 [April 1, 1964], No. 13375/64. Heading A6L. A rung 3 of a ladder especially of glass fibre is secured in a hole in a C-section or I- section stile by a shouldered sleeve 5 and adhesive. It may also be secured by a plug 7 having a flange 8 engaging the outside of the stile. The two plugs 7 of a stile may be connected by a rod 9 and nuts 11.
