Abstract

962,641. Ladders. NON-CORROSIVE METAL PRODUCTS Ltd. Aug. 8, 1960 [May 6, 1959], No. 15551/59. Heading A6L. [Also in Division D1] A rope ladder comprises four ropes 10 joined by four sets of rungs 14, the rungs at each level being maintained at right angles and connected to the ropes by blocks 18. The blocks 18 are threaded on and glued to the ropes by injecting adhesive into an internal groove 28 through the bores of the spigots 20 by which the rungs are connected to the blocks. The spigots are internally threaded to receive grub screws 26 for engaging the ropes.
