Abstract

938,472. Ladders. SHAFTESBURY LADDERS Ltd. March 28, 1960 [March 26, 1959], No. 10633/59. Class 20 (2). A bracket for securing a rung to a ladder is provided with spikes 3 and screwholes 2 for attachment purposes and with a U-shaped portion 5, 6 having deformable lugs 7 to receive the rung. The bracket may be made of malleable iron and is grooved at 12 and provided with an aperture 9 to receive a tie rod, see Figs. 1, 2 and 3 (not shown).
