Abstract
1,093,431. Two stroke engine. P.G. TACCHI. Nov. 17, 1964 [Nov. 19, 1963], No.45541/63. Heading F1B. The pistons 17, 18 of an opposed cylinder engine are integrally connected by a bridge piece 26 which is arcuate in cross-section. Piston 17 is connected to crank-pin 36 by a connecting rod 32 and cooling ribs 27 are formed on the bridge piece 26. Pump pistons 19, 20, are integral with the pistons 17, 18, the charge of one cylinder being fed by the pump of the opposed cylinder.
