1,076,718. Rail securing dips. RAILROAD PERMANENT WAY PRODUCTS CORPORATION. Nov. 11, 1965, No. 14327/66. Divided out of 1,076,717. Heading E1G. A spring steel rail securing clip has a lip portion 88 on an upper portion 92, connected by a curved section 96 with a base 98, having an upstanding flange 102 bent inwardly at 104 such that the end face 105 contacts the side of a clamping bolt passing through holes 94, 100 when the bolt is tightened. The lisp 88 may slope upwardly or downwardly and may be wider than the main body of the clip. The flange 102 is preferably sloped outwardly to provide locating means for the rail base flange.
