Abstract

1,076,095. Control of A.C. motors. MEZ VSETIN NARODNI PODNIK. Jan. 26, 1965 [March 5, 1964], No. 3468/65. Heading H2J. The stator winding 1 of a three-phase shunt commutator motor is supplied through the secondary windings of a double induction regulator D in opposition to the mains voltage, the rotor winding 2 being supplied from double induction regulator B. The motor is accelerated by increasing the voltage applied to the winding 1, the rotor voltage remaining constant. When maximum torque has been attained, the rotor voltage is increased and the stator voltage is kept at a maximum. Thereafter, further increase of speed is obtained by reducing the stator voltage. A compensation transformer C has its primary winding connected in parallel with the stator winding 1.
