Abstract
A speed regulation system for an electric motor having field and armature windings connected in series fed from an alternating current source comprising a solid-state controlled rectifier having an anode-cathode circuit connected in series with said windings armature and field, and a barrier cathode control circuit, characterized by means of variable inductance intended to be excited to produce a reference voltage, and means coupling said means producing the reference voltage and said armature winding of motor to said barrier cathode control circuit.
