Abstract

1,021,125. Sack holders. A/S EXTRUSION. July 8, 1964 [Feb. 27, 1964], No. 28235/64. Heading B8C. [Also in Division A4] A holder for a plastic foil bag for refuse, consists of an upper frame 6, holding the mouth of the bag open, and a lower frame, support. ing the closed base of the bag and formed by frames 1, 2, connected to each other by stiffeners 3, 4 and to the upper frame by supports 5, and a rotatable magazine roller 12. carrying a web of bags which are separated from each other by transverse seams and tear lines 14, the holder being formed with an opening through which the web is drawn upwardly for replacement of a fitted bag by an empty one. The holder is of plastic-coated wire and the frame 6 has an aperture 7 so that it resiliently compresses for the folding over of the mouth 15 of a bag. The roller is supported on extensions 11 of two of the supports 5 and the opening through which the web is drawn is defined by a bar 9, and a bar 10 of a support 8, the bars being welded to the ends of stiffeners 4. Eyes 17 are provided for mounting the framework on a door, wall &c. and, in modifications, the framework is supported on the floor, the roller is supported in a tubular or trough-shaped container and the mouth of the bag is secured to the upper frame by means other than folding over.
