Abstract

1,085,853. Refuse receptacles; roll holders. FRIDEX A.B. June 16, 1965 [June 18, 1964], No. 25447/65. Headings A4A and A4G [Also in Divisions B5 and B8] A flattened plastic &c. sleeve with inwardly folded sides, is divided into sections by transverse seams, e.g. welds, to form refuse bags supported individually in a receptacle of plastic-coated wire through the bottom of which the web is drawn. Two spaced lines of perforations are provided below and parallel to each weld for separation of a filled bag from the web and to provide a torn off strip for tying the mouth of a filled bag. The web is supported on a roller suspended from the base of the receptacle which has a guide slot for passage of the web and in use the opened mouth of a bag is folded over the mouth of the receptacle. In a modification the bag web is folded concertina-wise on a shelf below the receptacle.
