1,020,699. Pipe unions. SIEMAG SIEGENER MASCHINENBAU G.m.b.H. Jan. 20, 1965 [Jan. 29, 1964], No. 2541/65. Heading F2G. In a high-pressure pipe union, tubes 1, 2 slide telescopically one in the other with the interposition of a liner 3 and in sealing-tight relationship, the tubes having spherically thickened parts 8 engaged in sealing-tight manner in spherical liners 11, 12 and for universal movement thereof. The parts 8 may be in the form of collars secured in position by rings 10 screwed on to the tubes, grooves 16 behind the rings receiving resilient gaskets.
