Abstract

The crate is made from a set of cardboard blanks to form a bottom (2) with side walls. The bottom and two opposite walls are passed right through by a continuous divisible line (11). The crate comprises an intermediate added partition (22), fixed on both sides of the opposite walls, formed from two side by side flaps (14) which can be separated from each other. The intermediate partition is located at right angles to and overlapping the divisible line such that the crate can be separated into smaller crates by unfixing the flaps and separating the bottom and the opposite walls about the divisible line.

  To do this, the invention starts in particular from the idea of using an intermediate partition separable in two and making it possible to delimit at least two smaller boxes by splitting said

  For this purpose, the present invention proposes in particular a box made of cardboard sheet material, comprising a bottom and a side wall belt, characterized in that the bottom and two opposite side walls are crossed right through by at least one breakable line continuous, and in that said body comprises at least one added intermediate partition, fixed on either side on said opposite walls, formed by two adjoining flaps, separable from each other, said intermediate partition being located at right of, and straddling, the breakable line, so that the box can be separated into smaller boxes, by separating the flaps and separating the bottom and

  The invention also provides a set of blanks for constituting a box comprising a bottom, a belt of side walls, said belt comprising two first opposite side walls and two second opposite side walls, and an intermediate partition, said set comprising a first blank capable of forming the bottom and the belt of side walls, said first blank comprising at least one series of at least two panels connected together by first fold lines parallel to each other, said series being provided with at least one continuous breakable line crossing said series right through perpendicular to the first fold lines, and in that the assembly comprises at least one second blank capable of forming the intermediate partition of the body in line with the breakable line, said second blank being formed of two identical or symmetrical flaps with respect to a median line, separable from each other, each of the said flaps being provided with first flaps attached by second fold lines to the lateral edges of said flaps, said first flaps being arranged to be folded outwards from the partition and fixed respectively to the internal faces of the first opposite side walls during the training of

  FIG. 1 shows a first blank 1 of double-sided corrugated cardboard comprising a central rectangular panel 2 connected on two of its opposite peripheral edges by first fold lines 3 mutually parallel to first opposed rectangular panels 4, of a first height, and on its two other edges opposite by fourth fold lines 5 to second panels 6, opposite, of a second height, for example smaller than the first, the second panels 6, being

devoid of flaps.

  The first panels 4 have, for their part, second flaps 7 connected to the lateral edges of said first panels by third lines

folding 8.

  Stacking pins 9 on the outer peripheries of the first panels 4, and corresponding recesses 10 made on the first lines

  folding 3, are advantageously provided.

  According to the embodiment of the invention more particularly described here the first panels 4 and the central panel 2 comprise a continuous straight line 11, breakable, perpendicular to the first fold lines 3. This line separates the blank in

  two parts symmetrical about line 11.

  By a twisting movement (see Figure 6), and tearing in the direction of line 11, it is then possible to simply separate the parts of the tray into two small trays 23. The tray can

  The small trays 23 are then stackable before or after separation as shown in FIG. 7.
