Abstract

The case has a lateral belt (2) with a U shaped cut out front shutter (4), a back shutter (5), lateral shutters (6, 7), a base (8) and a cut out top (11). The base has a central panel (9) with a set of flaps (10) extending on each side of the panel. Each flap is fixed on an external peripheral part of the front shutter. The front shutter defines a central recess (26) with the top, to capture an object in the case. Description

The present invention relates to a form box

  general parallelepiped in sheet of cardboard or 5 corrugated cardboard, for the packaging and transport of objects, said box comprising a lateral belt comprising a perforated front flap, a rear flap and side flaps as well as a bottom and a top partly openwork.

  The invention also relates to a set of cutouts for the constitution of such a box.

  The present invention finds a particularly important, although not exclusive, application in the field of boxes used for presenting goods directly on a pallet in large areas and this in order to avoid handling and additional intermediate storage costs.

  In particular, this type of packaging allows easy and pleasant access to the products for the consumer regardless of the location of the box, on the accessible side of the pallet.

  Devices are already known which allow direct access to products inside packages 25 placed on a pallet.

  Such devices are not satisfactory. In fact, they generally require the removal of part of the walls to make the products accessible. In addition, when it comes to perforated trays 30, the latter do not have a significant strength, which does not allow to have storage on pallets of heavy products and / or on a large number of floors.

  The present invention aims to avoid these drawbacks.

  For this purpose, it essentially offers a box of generally parallelepipedal shape in sheet of 5 cardboard or corrugated cardboard, for the packaging and transport of objects, said box comprising a lateral belt comprising a perforated front flap, a rear flap and lateral flaps , as well as a bottom and an openwork top, characterized in that the bottom, or the top, is formed by a central panel provided with first flaps extending at least partly on each of its sides, said first flaps being each fixed on the peripheral part of the opposite flap, and in that the front flap is U-shaped defining with the partly perforated top a central recess suitable for allowing manual entry by a user in the box of a object laterally and / or from above.

  Such a box allows the use of cardboard of different qualities between the side wall belt and the bottom and / or the top. For example, the bottom may be made of cardboard which is less resistant than the walls which must withstand compression, the bottom 25 having only to bear buckling.

  In advantageous embodiments, recourse is had to one and / or the other of the following arrangements: - the top of the box comprises two second 30 opposite flaps on the sidewalk, each connected to the upper periphery of a corresponding side flap, and a third transverse flap connected to the upper periphery of the rear flap, fixed on either side on said second flaps and at least entirely located at a distance from the central part of the periphery of the front flap.

  - The second flaps each have on their lateral edges 5, on one side a first tongue, fixed on the upper part of the branch of the U of the front flap opposite and on the other side means for compensating for vertical stresses ; the take-up means are formed by lugs extending the second flap on the other side than the tabs and resting on the upper edge of the rear flap, the third flap comprising lateral recesses for the passage of said lugs during the box formation; the take-up means are formed by second tabs extending the second flaps on the other side of the first tabs and fixed on the upper part of the rear flap, the third flap comprising lateral recesses of shape complementary to that of said second tabs; the top has a fourth U-shaped flap, the end of each branch of which is respectively connected to the end of the corresponding branch of the U of the front flap by a fold line, the central bar of the U of the fourth flap being extended on both sides by a lug cooperating with an obviously opposite made in the junction line of the second flap with the corresponding side flap; - The third flap is joined with the fourth flap; the top of the box is formed of said central panel provided with said first flaps and has a U shape whose end of each branch is respectively fixed, by means of one of said first 5 flaps of corresponding size, to the end of the U branch opposite the front flap.

  The invention also provides a set of cutouts for constituting a box for packaging and transporting objects, comprising at least two cutouts in corrugated cardboard, namely a first cutout comprising a series of at least four flaps main, namely a perforated front flap, a rear flap and side flaps, terminated by a fixing tab and connected together by first fold lines parallel to each other, said series of flaps forming the outer walls of the box and being connected on one side to a series of flaps by second fold lines perpendicular to said first fold lines, said series of flaps being able to form at least partially the top or the bottom of the box, and a second cut, characterized in that the second cutout forms the bottom or the top and comprises a central panel provided at least in part with first flaps along each of its sides, in that said second cut when it forms the top, or part of the first cut in the form of a flap connected to the front flap to form at least partially the top of the box when said second cut does not form the top is perforated towards said front flap, and in that the front flap is U-shaped defining with the perforated part of the top an obviously central 5 suitable for allowing manual entry by a user in the box of an object laterally and / or from above.

  In an advantageous embodiment, the series of flaps of the first cut comprises two second opposite side flaps, each connected to the upper periphery of a corresponding side flap, and a third transverse flap connected to the upper periphery of the rear flap , fixed on either side on said first flaps 15 and at least in part located entirely at a distance from the central part of the periphery of the front flap.

  Advantageously, the second flaps each have on their lateral edges on one side a tongue suitable for being fixed on the upper part of the branch of the U of the front flap opposite and on the other side of the means for taking up the stresses vertical.

  In an advantageous embodiment, the top has a fourth U-shaped flap, the end of the branches of which is connected to the end of the branches of the U of the front flap by a fold line, the central bar of the U of said fourth flap being extended on both sides by a lug capable of cooperating with an obviously opposite made in the junction line of the second flap with the corresponding side flap.

  Advantageously, the lug can be replaced by a tongue.

  In another advantageous embodiment, the second cut is suitable for forming the top of the box, said central panel provided with the first flaps having a U shape, the end of each branch comprises small first flaps of dimension corresponding to those of the ends of the branch of the U of the front flap on which they are capable of being fixed.

  Figure 1 shows a parallelepipedic box 1 for example in sheet of corrugated double-sided cardboard 3 mm thick for the packaging of objects (not shown) for example constituted by 5 heavy objects like bottles of household products or cans .

  The box 1 comprises a lateral belt 2 of flaps, namely a front flap 4, U-shaped, a rectangular rear flap 5 and two side flaps 10 6 and 7 also rectangular.

  It further comprises a bottom 8 formed of a central panel 9 provided on each of its sides with first rectangular or substantially rectangular flaps 10, glued to the lower external periphery 15 of the flaps of the belt.

  Advantageously, the flap 10 glued to the front flap has two end portions 10 'projecting upwards, of the same dimensions and glued to the start of the branches of the U of said front flap. This further increases the rigidity and the torsional strength of the box.

  The box comprises a top 11 comprising two second opposite flaps 12 and 13 constituting sidewalks each provided with one side of a tongue 14, 25 15, glued to the external face of the upper part 16, 17 of the branch of the U of the front flap 4, of the same width as the tongue and as the second flap and on the other side (cf. FIG. 2) of small protuberances or lugs 18, 19, extending 30 the corresponding second flap 12, 13, and resting on the upper edge 20, 21 opposite the rear flap 5.

  The top of the box 1 also comprises a third substantially rectangular flap 22 connected by a fold line 23 to the rear flap 5 and comprising recesses 24, 25 on its lateral ends 5 at the level of the fold line, of rounded shape and of radius greater than the width of the pins, to allow the folding of the second flaps during the formation of the box, the third flap being also glued to the upper face 10 of the first flaps.

  The third flap being of width for example less than half the width of the side flaps, the top is perforated on a part so that it is thus formed obviously 26, 15 in one piece with the perforated part of the U of the front flap, allowing easy manual entry by a user, directly in the box, the structure of which nevertheless allows the rigid maintenance of the assembly.

  FIG. 2 shows the set 28 of cutouts making it possible to produce the box 1 of FIG. 1. The same reference numbers have been used for simplicity in the following description to designate the same elements or similar elements. The lateral belt 2 is terminated by a rectangular adhesive tab 7 ′ connected to an adjacent lateral flap 7 by a fold line parallel to those connecting the other flaps of the series.

  FIG. 3 shows the same lateral belt 2 of flaps as in FIG. 2.

  Second tabs 29, 30 are provided here, arranged in place of the lugs 18, 19 on the side of the rear flap, the third flap 22 comprising recesses 31, 32, of shapes complementary to these tabs at the fold line 23.

  The bonding of the third flap on the first flap 5 makes it possible to stiffen the assembly and avoid twisting of the lateral faces, the tongues glued back to the external face of the front flap allowing the blocking of the sidewalks which will allow the stacking of the boxes and their holding on 10 pallets after partial emptying of the objects.

  FIG. 4 is a front view of a pallet 33 of boxes according to the embodiment of FIG. 1.

  It is possible to extract the objects in the lower part while keeping full crates in the upper part. For example, certain objects have been extracted from boxes 34, 35, 36, 37 and 38, without however destabilizing the palette, which remains solid and of pleasant presentation for consumers.

  Thus, it is possible with the invention to constitute a complete pallet of objects or products, to deliver them directly to the store and to present the objects or products as they are to the consumer, without any manipulation on the packaging, that is to say without tearing from the front, without using a cutter or opening a flap.

  The formation, filling and closing can be easily mechanized, while allowing the use of lightweight and recycled paper while favoring a rigid structure since, as already stated, due to the packaging in two parts, it is possible to use two types of cardboard, one to resist compression, the other to resist buckling of the bottom.

  Figures 5 and 6 show another embodiment of a box and a set of blanks according to the invention.

  Here the top 11 has a fourth U-shaped flap 40, the ends of the branches 41 and 42 of which are connected to the end of the branches of the U of the front flap 4 by fold lines 40 'aligned or 10 substantially aligned with those of the second flaps.

  The fourth flap 22 has on the lateral edges of its external peripheral side 43, rectangular protrusions 44 of small widths 15 directed outwards, suitable for cooperating with rectangular recesses 45 of complementary shape, at least for half, located on the fold lines 46 of the second flaps with the side flaps.

  The peripheral side 43 of the fourth flap is moreover, by thor, and for example, contiguous with the external peripheral side 47 of the third flap 22, the lateral edges of which are also provided with small protrusions 48 which snap into the recesses 45 when closing the top.

  In this embodiment, the third and fourth flaps are glued under the second flaps, the protrusions snapped into the recesses ensuring the back pressure during gluing.

  The absence of tabs on the front face also allows better printing continuity and the solidarity between the flap 4 and the flap 40 provide excellent rigidity.

  FIG. 7 shows another embodiment of a box 50, provided with a set 51 of flaps 5 forming the belt of the box, identical to the flaps described with reference to the preceding figures. Each of these components comprises a rectangular flap 52, 53, 54, 55 intended to form the bottom of the box in a manner known per se. The box 50 also includes a cover 56 forming the top, having a central U-shaped panel 57 provided at the ends of its branches with small first flaps 58 in the form of rectangular tabs suitable for being glued to the upper ends of the U of the front flap 4 The panel 57 further comprises on each of its other sides first rectangular flaps 59 which can also be glued on shutters facing each other, the recess 60 of the U of the panel 57 being of the same width and directed towards the recess. 61 of the U of the front flap 20, to form a single recess.

  As is obvious and as also follows from the above, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments more particularly described. On the contrary, it embraces all the variants and in particular those where the set of cutouts comprises three cutouts, to form the bottom, the top and the side walls respectively.

Claims (13)

  1.Box (1, 11, 50) of general shape 5 parallelepiped in sheet of cardboard or corrugated cardboard, for the packaging and the transport of objects, said box comprising a lateral belt (2) comprising a perforated front flap (4) , a rear flap (5) and side flaps (6, 7), a bottom (9) and an openwork top (11), characterized in that the bottom, or the top, is formed by a panel (9 ) central provided with first flaps (10) extending at least in part on each of its sides, said first flaps (10) each being fixed on the peripheral part of the shutter opposite, and in that the front shutter (4) is U-shaped defining with the perforated top a central recess (26) suitable for allowing manual entry 20 by a user in the box of an object laterally and / or from above.   2.
