Abstract

The invention relates to a box (1) of generally parallelepiped form, made from cardboard sheet or corrugated cardboard, for storage and transport of objects. The box comprises a lateral belt (2) with a front face (4) with an opening therein, a rear face (5), lateral faces (6, 7), a base (9) and a top (11) with an opening therein. The base, or the top is formed from a central panel (9) with first flaps (10) extending at least for a part of each of the sides thereof, said first flaps (10) each being fixed to the peripheral part of the opposing face. The front face (4) is in the form of a U, defining, in cooperation with the top with an opening, a central hole (26) which permits a user to grab an object within the box from the side and/or from above.
