Abstract

L'invention concerne une culasse pour un moteur à combustion interne. Selon l'invention, la culasse est caractérisée par le fait que chaque culbuteur prévu pour la commande d'une soupape d'admission ou- chaque culbuteur prévu pour la commande d'une soupape d'échappement est monté en porte à faux, ou que les culbuteurs sont tous montés de façon centrale, et par le fait également que la bougie d'allumage, qui utilise un orifice de passage débouchant centralement dans la chambre de combustion, est disposée de telle sorte que son axe longitudinal soit orienté parallèlement ou à peu près parallèlement aux soupapes d'admission ou aux soupapes d'échappement entre celles-ci et l'arbre à cames. Application à l'industrie automobile.
