Abstract

a. Vernis à l'alcool à base d'une résine d'un dérivé du cyclopentadiène et d'un composé contenant au moins une double liaison et un groupe hydroxyle. b. Vernis à l'alcool comprenant une solution alcoolique d'une résine de copolymère contenant des groupes hydroxyles, de cyclopentadiène, de dicyclopentadiène ou d'un de leurs dérivés alkyl substitués, et d'un composé, comme un alcool allylique, renfermant dans sa molécule au moins un double liaison et au moins un groupe hydroxyle. Dans une de ses réalisations, cette invention concerne un vernis à l'alcool comprenant une solution alcoolique de ladite résine contenant des groupes hydroxyles et au moins une résine connue soluble dans l'alcool comme dans la colophane modifiée à l'acide maléique ou une résine alkyde. c. Vernis pour encres d'imprimerie.
