Abstract

Batterie alcaline étanche. Elle est fermée hermétiquement par la fusion d'un isolant à l'oxyde de silicium tel que du verre intercalé entre un couvercle métallique annulaire raccordé électriquement à une électrode de la batterie et une pièce de métal raccordée à l'autre électrode ; une garniture annulaire est disposée dans le couvercle en about avec lui, et une plaque collectrice raccordée à la pièce de métal est disposée sous l'isolant Le bord de la plaque est étroitement serré contre le bord intérieur de la garniture pour délimiter un espace fermé entre isolant et plaque. Applicable notamment aux batteries à l'oxyde d'argent.
