Abstract
The weight of the car initiates a succession of compressions in each of the separate chambers that come into contact with the road surface. Each of these chambers contain oil which, when compressed, operates a piston whose rod is, through a cardan shaft, connected to a ratchet wheel fixed to a dynamo which will then produce the electrical current to drive the car. The piston chambers are placed at the internal rim of the tyre and extend completely around the wheel. The pistons move through return strokes under the control of coil springs.
