Abstract

Procedimiento para el tratamiento térmico de material de grano fino, tal como cal, tierra arcillosa, dolomita, magnesita, harina cruda de cemento o similares, para lo cual el material se precaldea en un precalentador mediante los gases de escape calientes de un horno de tambor giratorio y, bajo alimentación de combustible, se somete a un proceso separado de calcinación para desacidificar la parte de carbonato cálcico, caracterizado porque el combustible destinado a la desacidificación de una parte de carbonato cálcico es alimentado en trozos gruesos a la corriente de material sin dispersar, en la zona de entrada de material del horno de calcinación.
