Abstract

A pressurized dispensing container for dispensing two separately stored liquids as a mixture, e.g. warm lather, with one liquid in container 1, e.g. a lathering mixture including a propellant and sodium hypophosphite or potassium sulphite, and the other liquid, e.g. hydrogen peroxide, in a flexible collapsible container 17 within container 1, has a dispensing valve assembly comprising a valve housing 6 with a connection 7 to container 17 and a connection 19 to container 1, a spring-loaded valve stem 5 having a discharge port 13 and a shoulder 10 co-operating with a sealing washer 9, and a recess 18 co-operating with a valve housing shoulder 12. In the embodiment shown, the container is inverted for dispensing, depression of button 14 moving stem 5 to open port 13, and to bridge shoulder 12 with recess 18 to connect container 17 to the valve housing. In Fig. 3 (not shown), a dip tube is connected to connection 19 to enable dispensing with the container upright.
