Abstract

1,005,173. Dispensing liquids by gaseous pressure. S. KITABAYASHI. Nov. 22, 1963 [Nov. 24, 1962], No. 46192/63. Heading F1R. A discharge tube 1 integral with or connected to a dip tube 5 is sealed to a pressurised dispensing container and closed at the outer end. A valve bore 4 in the tube 1 is surrounded by a resilient gasket 9 which seats on a shoulder 10. The gasket 9 is engaged by a push button 6 having a shoulder 11 whereby depression of the button distorts the gasket to uncover the bore 4 so that discharge takes place through the expansion chamber 8 and the outlet 7.
