Abstract

An air humidifier comprises a tank 1 containing a body of water, parallel discs 3 partially immersed in the water and mounted for rotation with a shaft 4 coupled by a reduction gear 7 to an impeller-wheel 6, a stream of air driving the wheel 6 and thereby the discs, the air to be humidified passing over the portions of the discs not immersed in water.
